Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin gave away a cash prize of seventy-five lakh rupees to the leading squash player Joshna Chinnappa in Chennai today. It was in recognition of her winning the World Squash Women’s Doubles Championship in the international event held in Glasgow in the second week of this month. Ms Chinnappa lifted the coveted trophy by pairing with the prominent player Deepika Pallikkal in the women’s doubles.
