The day’s play begins with an all-Egyptian affair, as World No.16 Nadine Shahin takes on No.6 seed and World No.7 Salma Hany, while women’s and men’s No.1s, Nour El Sherbini and Ali Farag play in the day’s final matches, they face Tinne Gilis and Saurav Ghosal, respectively.
Todd Harrity is the sole U.S. representative in action today, following his dramatic victory over England’s Declan James. The World No.34, appearing in the third round of a PSA World Tour Platinum event for the first time in his career, faces a tough challenge up against No.6 seed Marwan ElShorbagy in the day’s second match.
